Controls that can be hacked
Default passwords, accounts for people who left years ago, firmware never updated, controllers reachable from the internet. Once compromised, settings can be changed from outside while the screen still looks normal.

Rules that no longer fit
Schedules that ignore real occupancy, overrides never reversed, sensors that read wrong, rules that fight each other. Nothing alarms, so nothing gets fixed. Across 643 buildings, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory found median energy savings of 16% from commissioning existing buildings, with a median payback of 1.1 years.

We map every controller and access path, pull trend data and place our own sensors for two weeks. Every finding comes with its impact, cost to fix and priority.

Most fixes are settings, rules and access, not new equipment. Physical work goes to licensed partners we manage.

About 30 days later we measure again against the baseline. You see proof the problem is gone.

Buildings now run on networked systems. Someone should be looking after them.
